Ola Aina, Hull City defender who is currently on loan from Chelsea has made a nationality switch to Nigeria. It will only be a matter of time before he is approved and plays with the rest of the Nigerian team. The 20 year old Aina who was formerly with the England youth team as a captain was invited by the powers that be in the NFF to join up with the rest of the Nigerian squad.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have gone on to present the documents backing up the player’s switch to the country of his parents. Now all it needs is for FIFA to approve his switch and he would feature for the team. Nigeria faces two crucial World Cup qualifiers by early next month. Lahiff switched from loosehead to tighthead prop last season. He’s the big prop with the two little chihuahuas. The 27-year-old is the loosehead turned tighthead who loves his superheroes and has a penchant for old Italian cooking.

Australia vs Scotland; it is the most unlikely of rugby rivalries. After losing 16 times in a row to Australia between 1982 and 2009, Scotland have now won three of the past six games between the two nations.

After Scotland suffered some heroic thrashings in those 27 years, not one match was remotely close and two, a 45-3 victory in Sydney in 1998 and a 44-15 shellacking at Murrayfield in 2006, were routs.
