Real Madrid to face Barcelona in the Classico
Real Madrid wants to believe that they can still beat Barcelona in the title race. This will start by winning the Classico on Saturday night at the Camp Nou
However, things will not be easy especially with Real Madrid having failed to register a league win at the Barcelona ground since 2012.
With Barcelona having beaten Real Madrid 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier in the season, Real Madrid will be keen to take revenge for this defeat.
Gareth Bale has insisted that beating Barcelona is feasible, but they will need to show a positive attitude on the pitch. They should not go there thinking that they have already lost the game.
Indeed, Real Madrid is currently doing well having registered 4 wins in their last 4 win game. This is their best streak with their current manager Zinedine Zidane and will be hoping that they could continue this run on Saturday. Their last defeat came against their rivals Athletico in February.
Real Madrid has suffered injuries to key players during the recent weeks and now with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema back in full training; they will want to make up for their recent points loss. Bale and Benzema have been working hard during the international break and would want to be in contention for a starting place in the team to face Barcelona.
Benzema seems to be quite sharp at the moment with a video showing him scoring a marvelous goal on the training ground. Zidane will be hoping that he will be able to replicate this form at the Camp Nou to help Madrid clinch a major win.
Sergio Ramos is also expected to take his place alongside Pepe in the team after suffering a minor injury with the Spanish national team during the international break.
